About The Role This role calls for a technically strong leader who can comfortably bridge executive strategy and hands-on, production-level AI engineering. The AI Transformation Lead will be pivotal in designing and delivering AI-driven change at Fundraise Up. You will partner with teams to reimagine departmental functions, building the vision for human-AI teams and deploying deep technical capability that delivers measurable business impact. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, hands-on execution and change management in a high-stakes, ambiguous environment. What You'll Do Design & Identification • Process Deconstruction: Lead in-depth workshops with stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Legal, Finance) to conduct precise mapping of current workflows, identifying specific bottlenecks ripe for agentic automation. • Blueprint Creation: Design the detailed future state architecture for departmental functions, explicitly defining the collaboration protocols and task handoffs between human roles and specialized AI agents. • Defining Autonomy: Establish the technical and procedural governance models required for agent autonomy, specifically setting rules for decision rights, error escalation triggers, and critical human-in-the-loop oversight points. Technical Implementation & Build Strategy • Dual-Path Roadmap: Develop a detailed, twelve-month transformation roadmap that simultaneously delivers near-term, high-ROI AI solutions while defining the technical prerequisites for achieving fully autonomous agentic operations. • Agent Architecture Design: Define precise technical requirements for scalable agent architecture, including the necessary reasoning frameworks, risk management systems, and knowledge retrieval interfaces required for complex decision-making. • Build/Buy/Prioritize: Construct data-driven business cases for solutions, explicitly contrasting build vs. buy decisions and prioritizing implementations based on technical feasibility and quantified ROI models (e.g., time savings, arenaflex reduction). Solution Deployment and Enablement • End-to-End Build Capability: Serve as a hands-on technical lead capable of building, testing, and deploying both interim (e.g., RAG-based systems) and highly complex agentic AI solutions, working alongside AI Solution Engineers. • Operational Scaling: Oversee the technical integration and scaling of deployed AI agents within specific operational workflows (e.g., automating specific GTM tasks), ensuring seamless deployment with rigorous validation testing. • Curriculum Development: Design, author, and deliver all technical and operational training curricula (e.g., documentation, specialized workshops) required to rapidly transition end-users into effective collaborators with the newly deployed AI agents. • Impact Verification: Implement robust tracking mechanisms, utilizing specific KPIs (e.g., agent task completion rate, decision accuracy, departmental throughput change) to measure and verify the deployed solutions' business impact and ROI. About You • 5+ years in strategy consulting or AI startups, within high-growth technology environments. • Demonstrable experience of working with stakeholders to build and deliver an end to end AI strategy, transforming the performance of an overall business, team or workflow • Proven experience in technical builds and deployments • Deep experience driving organizational change and minimizing friction during the adoption of disruptive new technologies, specifically AI systems. • Proven ability to execute complex, cross-functional initiatives with limited oversight and high accountability including managing workstreams, coordinating stakeholders, and measuring impact • Strong written and verbal communicator; able to convey updates, impact, and insights clearly and credibly to senior audiences. • A practical, business-oriented approach — you're motivated by tangible outcomes, not just theoretical improvement. Benefits Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits and perks, meaningful equity, and a competitive salary: • 31 days off • Company subsidized medical insurance • 100% paid telemedicine plan • Home Office Setup Assistance: the company offers assistance with purchasing furniture (office chair, office desk, monitor) and other items to create a comfortable workspace. • English learning courses (50% reimbursement, up to $1,000 annually). • Relevant professional education (50% reimbursement, up to $1,500 annually). • Gym or swimming pool (50% reimbursement, up to $500 annually). • Co-working (up to $250 monthly). • Remote working.
