Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate and above all fun.</p><p></p><p><b>About the team</b></p><p>The FIS Payroll Team is responsible for in-house, end-to-end payroll processing for 25,000 US employees.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will be doing</b></p><p>Responsible for all functions for the preparation, reconciling, processing, and documentation of exempt and non-exempt payroll for 25,000 employees, including off-cycle, adjustments, bonuses, terminations, etc. Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records. Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes where required. Participate in compliance and employee support.</p><ul><li>Balances bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly payroll, research exception items and takes corrective action.</li><li>Assists with preparation of quarterly payroll tax reporting and researches and resolves payroll/tax reporting issues.</li><li>Works closely with technical departments to implement process improvements, test system changes and lead special projects within the payroll department.</li><li>Serves as liaison to employees and payroll associates to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company-specific pay policies.</li><li>Audits employee pay records and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc.</li><li>Interprets pay policies, e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc. and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to various accounts correctly.</li><li>Documents payroll processes and procedures; may train payroll department staff.</li><li>Produces various scheduled/ad hoc analyses and reports as needed.</li><li>Other related duties assigned as needed.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you bring</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or minimum 3 years of in house payroll experience.</li><li>Broad knowledge of payroll principles, practices, processes, and procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of laws and regulations that affect payroll.</li><li>Knowledgeable in the use and administration of payroll systems e.g., oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, team-building and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments concurrently.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Added bonus if you have</b></p><ul><li>Workday experience.</li><li>Knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and regulations.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer you</b></p><ul><li>Attractive benefits including private medical cover, dental cover, and travel insurance.</li><li>A broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities – FIS is your final career step!</li><li>A competitive salary.</li><li>A work environment built on collaboration, flexibility, and respect.</li></ul><p></p><p><br /></p><p></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Privacy Statement</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">FIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
