This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States Description: CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant - DevOps position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Duties: • Develop, enhance, and maintain event management applications within Netcool/OMNIbus, HP OMI, and CP4AIOps ecosystems. • Build custom dashboards and alerting solutions using Grafana and Icinga integrated with Netcool data sources. • Implement microservices, APIs, and automation scripts to streamline alert ingestion, correlation, and enrichment workflows. • Migrate or modernize existing legacy integrations from HP OMI to Microfocus/OpenText ITOM platforms. • Develop parsers, probes, and gateways for data ingestion from diverse network and application monitoring tools. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on DevOps and observability modernization initiatives in hybrid cloud environments. Required Skills: • Hands-on experience in Netcool ObjectServer, Impact, and WebGUI development. • Strong understanding of event lifecycle management, alert correlation, and noise reduction techniques. • Experience with HP OMI integrations, policy configurations, and OpenText monitoring solutions. • Familiarity with automation and AIOps workflows using CP4AIOps or similar platforms. • Exposure to DevOps and observability modernization initiatives in hybrid cloud environments. Nice to Have Skills: • Develop and enhance event management applications within Netcool/OMNIbus, HP OMI, and CP4AIOps ecosystems. • Build custom dashboards and alerting solutions using Grafana and Icinga integrated with Netcool data sources. • Implement microservices, APIs, and automation scripts to streamline alert ingestion, correlation, and enrichment workflows. • Migrate or modernize existing legacy integrations from HP OMI to Microfocus/OpenText ITOM platforms. • Develop parsers, probes, and gateways for data ingestion from diverse network and application monitoring tools. Experience: • Proven experience in Netcool/OMNIbus, HP OMI, CP4AIOps, and related monitoring/alerting platforms. • Background in DevOps practices and hybrid cloud environments. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
