Job Description: • Facilitate meeting and exceeding all Operations and Strategic Business Unit goals for the region, including quality, arenaflex, schedule, and cash flow • Represent the Regional Leader as the operations facing focal point for the VP of Ops and/or VP-GM of Vision & Sensing Systems, as needed • Drive Operational Excellence Avionics Operations for Region 1. • Support all Operations and region facing needs/requests • Represent Operations and region for long range and annual operating planning (AOP) • Partner with Operations Excellence peers on improvement initiatives and standardization of practices • Provide awareness/updates on Operations and region initiatives • Develop and guide the implementation of strategies to continuously improve and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and overall performance of the sites within the region • Ensure all sites maintain a continuously improving Environmental, Health and Safety program • Ensure all sites maintain compliance with the Corporate Policies and Procedures, including all ethics and code of conduct policies • Facilitate organizational development programs across sites including mentoring and coaching of the site leadership teams and their organizations • Create and foster a team-oriented, accountable environment • Implement and execute strategies to continuously improve and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and overall performance of the sites within the region • Assemble recurring deliverables (i.e. monthly OA materials) for region and Operations • Provide other Chief of Staff responsibilities upon request • Travel approximately 25% (dependent on candidate home location) Requirements: • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience. • 10+ years of Operations experience. • Demonstrated success in senior level leadership, planning and forecasting. • Executive level communication and presentation skills. • Experience with and understanding of RLPM. • Varied professional background to support network and influence capability. • Experience leading cross-functional teams and leaders within a complex and sometimes ambiguous matrix organization.
