Auditor Assistant, Finance This individual must have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. The Audit Assistant reviews client billing for accuracy, processes deposit, refund and commission invoices, and ensures all information is entered correctly. They support the Audit team by pulling reports, compiling backup documentation, and helping prepare billing for review. They make sure the M&IW program lead has all necessary signed agreements, approvals, arenaflex savings worksheets, budgets, etc. in place. They also partner closely with our BI Solutions team to finalize all data points needed for internal and external reporting. What you will do here: • Monitor the Accounting email inbox • Process & Enter Vendor and Hotel Commission Invoices • Process & Enter Deposit invoices • Process & Enter Sponsorship invoices • Process & Enter Refund invoices • Assist auditors with pulling reports and compiling backup, as needed • Perform final review on billing for ICT programs, as assigned • Perform final review on billing for Sourcing Only programs, as assigned • Perform final review on billing for Cancelled Without Liability programs, as assigned • Compile and send finalized invoices to the client • Enter final invoices in Account Edge, as assigned • Run all final program reports • Save applicable information to the audit folder • Track and enter financial data for meetings managed by the company in Cvent • Work overtime hours when required, based on M&IW or client's needs and deadlines Utilize skills and resources to assist the Director of Finance: • Achieve long-term goals, department documentation, and improve performance objectives • Demonstrate ability to understand how planning and execution can impact the overall effectiveness of a solution in terms of expectations • Promote new tools for effective communication • Work with resource vendors to complete scheduled work • Identify design deficiencies Function in and foster a team environment: • Optimize effectiveness and interactions with the client and coworkers • Foster a positive work environment and integrate changes based on company and client needs Strengthen customer relationships: • Establish and maintain working relationships with clients as required to successfully complete responsibilities • Improve communications to internal/external customer • Optimize service delivery by identifying and tracking customer needs and satisfaction What we expect: Details of these areas are shared during interviews and monthly reviews: • Cultural Excellence • Role Level Function • Emotional Intelligence What you will bring: • 0-2 years of experience in accounting finance, auditing or administrative support • Familiarity/proficiency with Account Edge and/or Cvent a plus What we provide: • Competitive salary • Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance options • 401K plan • Paid holidays • Accrued personal time off for vacation and sick leave • Laptop, additional monitor, and mobile phone • Global Giveback program for volunteer service • Remote Office / Work from home, or option to work in our corporate headquarters located near Milwaukee Who we are:M&IW is a global event management firm specializing in virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences of all shapes and sizes as well as consulting and enterprise strategies.
