Over the years, we have steadily grown our Bancassurance channel through our partnership with OCBC Bank, distributing our products via OCBC’s banking channels to further strengthen our position as Malaysia’s key insurance provider. To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Bancassurance Sales Coach.

The Role:

  • Provide support to assigned Bank branches and work closely with CBM & TM to achieve Bancassurance sales targets
  • Focus on improving competency of PFCs, especially with vintage of less than 6 months
  • Facilitate relevant training to all PFCs of all vintages
  • Participate with PFCs in joint pitches and sales activities to ensure PFCs of all vintages achieve minimum closing, participation rate, closing ratio and sales target
  • Organise sales activities and conduct events for mass market segment
  • Work closely with leaders to plan branch activities to create Bancassurance awareness and grow Banca business
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
  • Other responsibilities entailed

The Person:

  • Possess tertiary qualification from any discipline
  • Has a minimum of 3 years working experience selling life insurance, with demonstrable selling skills
  • Possess coaching and mentoring experience, preferably as a Team Leader
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
