Job Title: Recruitment Consultant (Local Languages Division)

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

This is an Individual contributor role involves consistently fulfilling job orders by identifying potential candidates based on client requirements, sourcing candidates quickly, managing the full recruitment cycle, and closing positions within set service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will be independent, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate strong sourcing and recruitment abilities, and have exceptional negotiation skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Recruitment Consultant at MPG, you will be an integral part of our internal recruitment team, providing expert advice and insights into the Malaysian talent market.

•Offer strategic advice on talent mapping, including understanding current market trends, salary ranges, and sourcing channels.

•Managing and executing full life-cycle recruitment, including Source, Review, Interview, Select, and Prepare to onboard.

•Identifying passive candidates using creative and innovative recruiting techniques

•Partnering with clients, hiring managers and team to identify and understand key requirements, then build a comprehensive recruiting strategy.

•Proactive high-level sourcing, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and finding passive candidates through multifaceted internet searches, social media and networking channels.

•Managing the recruitment process and applicant flow in our Application Tracking System

•Collaborating with hiring managers and business leaders on diversity initiatives and attracting a diverse candidate slate.

•Utilize your deep knowledge of the Malaysian recruitment industry to guide clients effectively and address their specific needs.

•Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating your expertise and building strong, consultative relationships with clients.

•Stay updated on industry developments and provide valuable insights to both clients and internal teams.

CANDIDATE PROFILE/JOB REQUIREMENTS

•Diploma or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification).

•Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

•Strong command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.

•Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

•Ability to build strong client relationships and engage confidently with Hiring Managers.

•Solid understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes — sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary negotiation, and closure.

•Strong knowledge of talent mapping, market salary benchmarks, and candidate sourcing trends in Malaysia.

•Able to provide clients with accurate salary insights and relevant market intelligence.

•Proven capability in maintaining long-term client partnerships with trust and satisfaction.

•Experience in handling post-recruitment tasks such as invoicing, follow-ups, and payment coordination.

•High skilled in networking and leveraging social platforms and job portals for candidate acquisition.

•Familiarity with ATS systems is an added advantage.

•Strong understanding of social media platforms for recruitment branding and outreach.

•A collaborative team player who is proactive, committed, and supportive of team initiatives or special projects.

•Capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.

•Up-to-date knowledge of recruitment best practices, market trends, and industry demands in Malaysia.

•Demonstrates strong resilience and agility in managing tight timelines, high workloads, and fast-paced environments.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
