Job Role:

Branch Head is responsible for giving leadership to the Branch in the region to retain current business & developing new Business in the region. He/she is tasked with smooth running of the Branches to achieve organizational goals related to Business, Market Share, Customer satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction,

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Liner Agency vertical for the branch, with full P&L responsibility, ensuring achievement of volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Develop and generate new business opportunities within the Liner Agency segment, while expanding volumes and revenue from existing customers and reactivating inactive accounts through structured business development strategies.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong long-term relationships with key customers, principals, and partners, acting as the primary point of contact for the Liner Division at the branch level.
  • Drive and enhance the sales process, with a strong focus on margin improvement and profitability optimization.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, compliance requirements, and SOPs, conducting periodic reviews to strengthen governance and operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement innovative marketing and branding strategies to strengthen market positioning and establish the company as a preferred Liner Agency partner.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, trade lanes, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify new and untapped business opportunities in a dynamic market environment.
  • Ensure close coordination with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to deliver seamless service execution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Implement strategic and innovative pricing methodologies across liner services to optimize vendor procurement, improve yields, and enhance overall trade profitability.
  • Take complete ownership of billing, collections, and receivables management for all executed jobs, ensuring healthy cash flow and adherence to credit controls.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the branch Liner Division team, fostering a performance-driven culture with strong accountability and skill development.

•Promote a collaborative and professional work environment, maintaining effective coordination with internal stakeholders across departments and regional offices.

  • Represent the branch in principal meetings, trade negotiations, and strategic discussions, supporting long-term growth and sustainability of the Liner Division. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience in NVOCC / Liner Agency, with a strong background in business development and branch-level leadership.
  • Proven experience in branch operations, team management, and P&L ownership within the liner or shipping industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute successful growth and market expansion strategies.
  • Highly result-oriented, strategic, and commercially focused professional.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
