Position: Certified Personal Trainer - Albuquerque, NM Area Location: Albuquerque Fully Remote - US Full [...] Overview Certified Personal Trainer - Albuquerque, NM Area Fully Remote - US Independent Contractor • Fully Remote - US You are an experienced personal trainer who motivates others through fitness. You will work directly with clients to help them achieve fitness goals through encouragement, education, and a customized training plan. You are passionate about health and fitness, self-motivated, a natural teacher, and actively help people achieve their goals. Responsibilities • Teach fitness techniques to personal training clients • Develop individualized training programs • Evaluate individual capabilities and training needs • Demonstrate activity techniques and proper equipment use • Enforce facility rules and regulations • Administer fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching, and personal training sessions • Establish and maintain a personal training client base according to company standards • Provide a high level of personalized attention to members • Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products • Update and maintain the SRF Personal Training App • Instruct and demonstrate to members the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques • Provide high quality customer service • Adjust and operate fitness equipment • Regular and predictable attendance • Attend Personal Training related meetings • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Personal training and/or group ISSA training certification (required) • CPR, First Aid & AED certifications (required) • 2+ years of personal training or group fitness instruction • Able to perform exercises and movements as demonstrations to clients • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Honesty and personal integrity • Passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge in fitness and nutrition • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills • Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly Requirements • Extremely high emotional intelligence: motivate even demotivated and difficult clients • Deep expertise in human body, training, nutrition, and fitness schedule programming • Proven experience coaching clients to achieve results • Expertise in multiple fitness disciplines, including weightlifting, cardio health, and correcting imbalances Essential Physical Requirements • Ability to perform essential physical activities: standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, reaching; pushing/pulling; lifting up to 50 lbs NICE TO HAVES • Social media presence: ability to build a brand and acquire customers • ISSA Elite Personal Trainer certification • Advanced degree in training or nutrition • Experience with startups and/or cutting-edge tech Additional Information As a member of the team you will receive: Competitive salary and industry-leading commission opportunities.
