Title: Charity Workers/Volunteers
Tenure: Full time - 30 hours a week (i.e 6 hours Daily, 5 days weekly)

The Context:
The Redeemed Assemblies Trust is a UK Registered Religious Charity that exists to benefit the residents of Southwark and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.
The organisation operates viable Community Foodbanks that care primarily for unemployed, homeless, destitute, and low-income families.
Our motto is fighting food poverty, providing essentials, and reducing food waste.
Job Summary:
We are looking for charity workers to support us with the pick-up and deliveries of essential items, food parcels, groceries from different warehouses, retailers/companies to main site in London.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Support drivers to pick up essentials, food parcels, groceries from different warehouses, retailers/companies, and delivery to main site
2. Support to sort out food parcels, groceries, frozen, chilled, bakery and clothing materials for community service users
3. Support in community outreaches
4. Support distribution of articles, leaflets, tracts, and evangelism materials.
5. Support to arrange hall/event centres/place of worship
