Your Opportunity, Your Team Reporting to the President of Cornerstone, the Chief Marketing Officer will lead the marketing strategy for our renowned banners: Frontgate, Ballard Designs, Grandin Road, and Garnet Hill. This is a unique opportunity to drive profitable revenue growth and elevate our omnichannel presence by building a world-class analytics and performance marketing organization. As CMO, you will be at the forefront of innovation, steering our brands toward new heights with data-driven insights and a relentless focus on the customer. You will lead a talented, cross-functional marketing organization, including Performance Marketing, Business Insights, and Consumer Research teams. As a member of the Executive Team, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders across the business, fostering a culture of excellence, agility, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will inspire and empower your team to deliver results with speed, creativity, and accountability. Where You'll Work This executive role is based at our Cornerstone Brands headquarters in Westchester, Ohio with flexibility for hybrid or remote work arrangements. You'll engage with teams across our portfolio, leveraging both in-person and virtual collaboration to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence. What You'll Do • Direct all performance marketing activities-including acquisition, CRM, direct print, paid/organic search and social, affiliates/influencer, and marketplaces-for our family of brands. • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across all omnichannel retail channels. • Allocate marketing resources with agility, responding to the dynamic omnichannel landscape to maximize productivity and ROI. • Oversee optimization of ecommerce properties, enhancing technical site performance, user experience, product discovery, and frictionless shopping. • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, embedding analytics and performance insights into every aspect of marketing. • Lead consumer and market research to provide actionable, forward-looking insights that inform brand and portfolio strategy. • Oversee the Business Insights team, standardizing metrics across marketing, customer, and ecommerce insights. • Collaborate with brand leaders to develop promotional calendars, strengthen brand voice, and support merchandising and inventory strategies. • Manage cross-brand programs for loyalty, design services, B2B, and more. • Build and manage strategic partnerships with marketing vendors and technology providers. • Serve as a key member of the Executive Team, shaping overall corporate strategy and resource allocation. • Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive, innovative, and results-driven culture.
