The Opportunity

We're excited to offer a range of 10 -12 week summer internship opportunities for Clarkson University students pursuing degrees such as engineering, computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, data analytics, business, finance, marketing, and related fields. This program is designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience across both technical and corporate functional areas within our organization.

As an intern, you'll be matched with a team where you can apply your academic knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute to impactful projects. Whether you're passionate about building systems, analyzing data, improving business processes, or supporting financial decision-making, there's a place for you here.

Typical internship placements include roles in software development, electrical engineering, data analysis, systems engineering, cybersecurity, project coordination, finance, marketing, operations, and more.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by placement, but may include:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects
  • Assisting in software development, IT support, or systems documentation
  • Conducting data analysis and contributing to reporting or automation solutions
  • Supporting business functions such as finance, marketing, HR, or operations
  • Participating in internal meetings, planning sessions, and presentations
  • Contributing to research, process improvement, or strategy development
  • Presenting your work and insights at the conclusion of the internship

Qualifications

Required
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student at Clarkson University
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
  • Strong academic performance and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • A professional attitude and growth mindset
  • Proficiency in tools/software relevant to your field (e.g., Python, Excel, SQL, Adobe, etc.)


Desired
  • Interest in solving real-world problems through innovation and teamwork
  • Prior internship, academic project, or leadership experience
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10 -12 weeks during the summer term


This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$39,900-$79,900
