About the position The Training & Development Team Leader designs and implements programs to enhance employee growth, client relationships, and service standards. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to manage initiatives like Salesforce, deposit projects, and divisional training. The ideal candidate is skilled in facilitation, passionate about development, and aligns training with the Bank's Core Values and goals. This individual will also act as a floating facilitator as needed to assist with frontline training needs. Responsibilities • Supervise and mentor divisional trainers, ensuring their professional growth. • Provide coaching and development opportunities for team advancement. • Allocate resources to ensure smooth training delivery. • Create and deliver programs focused on interpersonal and technical skills. • Collaborate with stakeholders to address training needs and gaps. • Facilitate engaging sessions using diverse methods, including eLearning. • Lead initiatives like Brewing Conversations to promote collaboration. • Track and report training effectiveness to senior management. • Integrate industry trends and best practices into training programs. • Partner with the Director of Education to align training with organizational goals. • Ensure programs meet frontline and support staff needs, enhancing the client experience. • Create and facilitate role specific content that focuses on building client relationships and utilizing the vital sales tools to customize the overall client experience. • Lead a positive, fun, and engaging training environment that fosters innovative learning. • Seek enhanced virtual training solutions that provide arenaflex savings for long term growth. • Keep the integrity of intranet training resources by updating procedures as vital. • Supervise employee progress and is accountable to provide additional learning moments. • Take advantage of various development opportunities by enrolling in industry related webinars and Bank offered courses. Requirements • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with related experience and secondary education preferred. • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. • Possesses professional communication and social skills to write and speak optimally both one-on-one and before groups. • Ability to use telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. • Prior experience or the ability to learn core transaction system, debit card system, statement processing system, cash advance machines and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. • Ability to travel frequently to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
