Our management company is seeking a professional maintenance technician for our Gurney Flats Community, in Yankton, SD!


Elation Propetties specializes in upscale living, beautiful finishes, and a true community-based lifestyle! We are looking for the right person to join our maintenance team!


The ideal candidate would perform routine maintenance and day-to-day repairs on common areas as well as occupied and vacated units. They can work independently to meet set maintenance and building upkeep expectations and work to exceed client expectations, ensuring that our community is always in good condition and maintained properly.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular scheduled maintenance on the building.
  • Handled tenants' requests as they come in within a timely manner.
  • Repair and help restore lived-in units to their original condition!
  • Work well with a team to ensure tenants receive an adequate level of service.

Required Skills:

  • Basic “Handyman” skills
  • Basic Plumbing knowledge
  • Mechanical skills

Job Type:

Full-time


Salary:

$21.00 - 23.00 per hour based on experience


Benefits:

  • 401k with a company match after 30 days
  • Paid time off (Begins immediately and accrues at 10 hours per month)

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
  • On-call as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • (Yankton, SD area) Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • Must have a valid, unexpired, Driver’s License

Experience:

  • Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
