As a Senior Analyst, you will support the APAC M&A / Strategy team in the development of growth business cases, financial modeling and 5-year strategic planning. This role offers the opportunity to support the decision-making process of strategic initiatives and high caliber projects in a dynamic, multinational environment.

What you will do:

  • Strategy development – Supervised support to the development of business growth strategies in line with global and regional growth ambitions, providing frameworks for strategy consolidation and gathering information from internal and external stakeholders to form a cohesive and compelling plan.

  • Conduct Industry and Market Research – Perform research on potential acquisition targets, acquisition targets, market trends, and competitive dynamics across APAC, with a focus on the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, beauty, and home care sectors.

  • Support Deal Origination and Evaluation – Assist in screening inbound opportunities, preparing strategic fit assessments, and maintaining the M&A pipeline.

  • Financial Modeling and Valuation – Develop complex financial models, including DCF and comparable company analysis.

  • Prepare Presentation Materials – Support the creation of internal strategy decks and transaction summaries for senior leadership and global stakeholders.

  • Project Execution Support – Assist in tracking timelines, regulatory documentation, and coordination across multiple functions, including but not limited to legal, finance, commercial and operations. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes for assigned projects to ensure smooth project execution.

  • 5yr Strategic Planning – Coordinate the consolidation of the APAC business outlook for the next 5 years as part of the yearly Corporate Strategic Planning cycle, aligning input from Marketing, Sales, Operations, Innovation, HR and Finance.

What you will bring:

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field

  • Advanced accounting and financial modeling skills

  • Minimum 3 years of M&A, business strategy consultancy work experience (Corporate Development or Investment Banking)

  • Highly skilled with Excel and Power Point

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Able to work flexible hours to accommodate evening meetings with US based stakeholders

Desirable requirements:

  • Fluency in Chinese is a plus.

  • Food & Beverage industry experience is a plus.
