Day Lewis Pharmacy Portswood Delivery Driver 

Self emplyed position paying £1.80 per delivery drop. This covers fuel cost as well as hourly rate. All deliveries are within a local radius of the pharmacy which enables a large amount of drops to be completed per hour.

Preferably working hours are 10am - 4pm depending on amount of deliveries per day

Applicants must have access to their own vehicle and must have business insurance

Day Lewis are looking for a Delivery driver to join our team.  

Great opportunity for a Delivery Driver to work within a team that thrives on being motivated. This could be an amazing opportunity for the right person looking to work with our local pharmacy teams and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.  Delivery Drivers have a big impact on our patient community and are integral roles within pharmacy.

We are looking for experienced Delivery Drivers  to join us and continue our journey in making positive changes to the community and the patients we help. GPhC accredited Delivery Driver Course is advantageous but not essential.

As a Delivery Driver you will report directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support is vital to the team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.

  • To collect prescriptions from the Pharmacy and deliver to patients as detailed in the standard operating procedure.
  • To ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed to ensure an audit trail is available
  • You may be asked to pick up Prescriptions from other Pharmacies in the area
  • To work to high standards of customer service
  • To presenting a professional image of the Company by acting as an ambassador.
  • To ensure all company procedures and protocols are followed.
  • To respect the confidentiality of information concerning customers and adhere to the Data Protection Act.
