We are currently looking for a seasoned demand planner to help us define and contribute to building a new demand planning team and process at Neogen. This role will be responsible for leading our demand planning process across regions and categories. They will work with regional sales teams, Product Owners, Supply Planners along with others across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Develop and update the demand plan using statistical models and input from key stakeholders. • Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer demand changes to improved forecast accuracy • Working closely with supply and production planning to understand demand gaps and help address constraints as they are identified • Lead IBP Monthly Global Demand meeting and participate in monthly area demand reviews • Utilizing Supply Chain tools and processes to make data-driven decisions that will improve service and inventory Your Knowledge Skills and Experience Neogen requires the following qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution. • At least Four (4) years of planning experience in Supply Chain or Operations in a private, public, government or military environment. • Advanced analytical skills - data analysis and statistical forecasting (Excel and/or advanced planning tools such as John Galt, SAP IBP). Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: • Understanding of broader supply chain (supply planning/plant scheduling, inventory control, etc.). • Advanced excel skills • Experience managing a demand planning process. • Experience in leading or participating on cross-function teams. • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and self-motivational skills (self starter). • Experience working with SAP and advance planning tools such as John Galt, SAP IBP, etc. a plus.
