Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dental team as a Dental Clinic Cleaner & Sterilization Assistant. This essential role supports the smooth and hygienic operation of our clinic by ensuring cleanliness, proper sterilization of instruments, and general upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high standards and understands the importance of infection control in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Instrument Care & Sterilization:
  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments according to established protocols.
  • Pack and organize sterilized instruments for clinical use.
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory.
Clinic Cleaning & Maintenance:
  • Perform daily cleaning of all areas of the clinic, including treatment rooms, reception, and staff areas.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Wipe down chairs, counters, doors, and surfaces to maintain hygiene.
  • Dispose of waste properly, including clinical and general waste.
Restroom Cleaning:
  • Clean and sanitize patient and staff restrooms daily.
  • Replenish toilet paper, soap, and other necessary supplies.
Laundry Duties:
  • Wash, dry, and fold clinic gowns, towels, and other linens.
  • Clean and maintain clinic shoes as needed.
  • Ensure laundry is properly stored and available for daily use.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in cleaning or healthcare support is preferred (training can be provided).
  • Familiarity with infection prevention and control procedures is an advantage.
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and hygiene.
  • Good time management skills.
