Remote | Northeast Ohio preferred | Part-time position (hours to be discussed; consistency and availability during business hours are important) We’re a kitchen & bath design showroom based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, looking for a part-time, remote technical Design Assistant who is already proficient in Chief Architect and who values integrity, professionalism, clear communication, and detail-driven with strong ownership. We’re a tech-driven, process-oriented company with a small, hardworking team. We take our work seriously — and we enjoy working together. This role is ideal for someone who is diligent, detail-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying closely connected to the team. Chief Architect proficiency is required. This is not a training role. Who You AreYou’ll fit right in if you: • Do what you say you’ll do — reliability matters here • Are naturally conscientious and detail-oriented • Take ownership of your work and follow through consistently • Are comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision • Prefer clear systems, organized files, and clean documentation • Communicate clearly, kindly, and proactively • Are tech-proficient and comfortable learning new tools • Enjoy supporting strong design work and keeping projects moving What You’ll Do • Create accurate floor plans in Chief Architect • Produce detailed wall elevations with correct dimensions, notes, and labeling • Support space planning and layout decisions • Assist with material and finish selections with limited directive (bringing thoughtful options and recommendations) • Pull and organize samples and digital assets; document selections clearly • Manage project files and documentation (plans, specs, selections, photos, notes) • Support client communication: scheduling, follow-arenaflex, notes, and updates • Keep multiple projects organized and moving forward using digital systems Must-Haves • Strong proficiency in Chief Architect (required) • Ability to create accurate plans and elevations independently • Excellent attention to detail (dimensions, labeling, documentation) • Tech proficiency (file management, shared drives, project tools, communication platforms) • Organized, dependable, and steady in follow-through • Professional, clear written and verbal communication skills Preferred • MUST HAVE 3 yr min. in kitchen & bath design, remodeling, cabinetry, or residential construction • Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (project management software, shared drives, messaging platforms) • Northeast Ohio–based (preferred but not required) USA ONLY Growth Opportunity: This role has the potential to grow into a Full-time Designer position for the right person.
