As the Director, Data Science & Analytics, you are responsible for developing analytical models and tools. You will be responsible for leading the company's efforts to build a best-in-class data function that leverages technology and operational excellence to build disciplined, repeatable, and actionable analytics. Accountabilities: • Develops and implement a data science platform to enable the company to leverage its data assets to drive business outcomes. • Leads the development and deployment of advanced analytics initiatives to support exposure and claim analysis, ensuring that they are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly. • Manages and develop a team of highly skilled data and analytics professionals, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation. • Develop and implement data training programs to improve proficiency across teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning. • Collaborates with business partners to align data and analytics initiatives with business strategy and integrate into decision-making process. • Be a leader of change in the organization by bringing solutions that simplify operations and enable the right analytics to be completed to support the success of our member companies. • Execution oriented with a track record of managing an organization to deliver analytical solutions to stakeholders in an effective manner. Skills & Requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or computer science. • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of data and analytics professionals, with a track record of developing talent for the future needs of the organization. • Proven track record of successfully implementing analytical solutions that drive business outcomes and operational efficiencies throughout the organization. • In-depth knowledge of insurance data and analytical processes with strong expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL and R. • Experience with cloud platforms and cloud data warehouses. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the company. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Strong accountability and attention to detail.
