Our External Support Engineers play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our team. **Key Responsibilities** As an External Support Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Providing technical support to content/external teams in regards to use of content tools * Creating reference materials and providing training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset * Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users * Escalating more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team, and working with production to track these issues in JIRA * Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams * Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality * Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion * Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions **Skills and Abilities** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * The ability to read and understand C# code * Good written and verbal communication, including working with external partners * A positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback * Excellent organization skills * Self-motivation; ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment **Education and Experience** While a Computer Science or related degree is preferred, we're open to considering equivalent work experience. If you have experience supporting a live service or tool environment, Unity 3D game and tool development experience, or experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, that's a definite plus. iOS and Android mobile development experience is also highly valued. **Position Type/Expected Hours of Work** Our core hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm CST, which means you should be available for meetings and other work-related activities during this time.
