About the Role We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst and Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while being part of a dynamic and results-driven team. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining and reporting merchant discount income, driving process improvement, and performing ad-hoc data analysis to assess rebate rate trends and uncover insights. Key Responsibilities Create a Canada figure for merchant discount income and track monthly performance against forecast, identifying drivers of change. Develop merchant discount income scorecards for the Canada region. Drive standardization and process improvement among the different regional pricing groups for all reporting and forecasting related activities. Support external audits, including investigating issues found, contacting the regional pricing groups that manage the merchant relationship to discuss issues, and managing resolutions. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to assess rebate rate trends and uncover insights. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other financial roles. A Bachelor's degree required; strongly preferred in Finance/Accounting/Business. High proficiency with Excel is required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills; demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models and draw value-added insights from a large amount of financial data. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS/SQL) is required. Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
