You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our data systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. Your expertise will help us to unlock new insights, drive business growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and develop data warehousing solutions, including ETL pipelines in large data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) * Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts to develop and implement data solutions * Develop and maintain data models, data structures, and data pipelines using Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, and other technologies * Work with our tech stack, including Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Flash, and Windstream, and languages such as Python, Scala * Ensure high operational efficiency and quality of solutions to meet SLAs and support our clients (Data Science, Data Analysis teams) * Participate in agile/scrum practices to ensure team well-being and cycle improvements * Develop and maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to support data quality and data governance **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field * Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets * Experience with distributed systems like Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data * Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala * Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query) * Strong experience in data integration toolsets (i.e. Windstream) and writing and maintaining data pipelines * Strong knowledge of data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard practices * Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with cloud technologies like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2) * Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security * Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team * Collaborative and inclusive work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and talented data engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
