About the Role We are looking for reliable, energetic, and experienced math tutors to work with young learners in an online setting. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic assistance and guidance to students, serving as a role model, and implementing our tutoring strategy. You will work closely with our management team to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed, and you will be expected to communicate regularly with us regarding student progress. Key Responsibilities: Provide students with academic assistance and guidance in math, as directed by the school and College Tutors of Indiana Implement the tutoring strategy within established timelines Communicate regularly with College Tutors management regarding student progress Assist in the development of a positive attitude toward learning, studying, and academics Submit online/mobile timesheets and session notes within 24 hours of completion of each session Pass a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of our students Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in math, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be comfortable working in an online environment and be able to adapt to the needs of our students. A college degree or current enrollment in college is required, and experience teaching and/or tutoring is highly preferred. Essential Qualifications: A college degree or current enrollment in college Experience teaching and/or tutoring, particularly in math Strong foundation in math and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in an online environment and adapt to the needs of our students Reliability and commitment to tutoring throughout the semester Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with young learners or students who may be struggling with math Knowledge of online tutoring platforms and technology Ability to speak multiple languages or work with students from diverse backgrounds Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development What We Offer In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $22-25 per hour, depending on experience.
