Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Overnight Remote Teleradiology Specialist to join our team of skilled radiologists who read remotely from 8pm-5am PST, 7 on 14 off (w/ elevated earnings). As a key member of our teleradiology team, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing accurate diagnoses to support the healthcare needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities • Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and other diagnostic tests, to provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations for patient care. • Read and report on a high volume of cases, meeting productivity and quality standards while maintaining a low error rate. • Collaborate with other radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and high-quality patient care. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in radiology. • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes. • Meet productivity and quality standards, including reading and reporting on a high volume of cases, and maintaining a low error rate. Essential Qualifications • Board certification in radiology or a related field (e.g., diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology). • Current medical licensure and malpractice insurance. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other radiologists, healthcare professionals, and patients. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical images and provide accurate diagnoses. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and patient care. • Experience with radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). Preferred Qualifications • Experience in teleradiology or remote reading. • Knowledge of relative value units (RVUs) and compensation structures. • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and best practices in radiology. • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support junior radiologists. • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technologies.
