Location: Germany Financial BI Consultant – CPM Technology Advisory Location: Remote within Germany (with occasional travel) Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Industry: Corporate Performance Management (CPM) Consulting What is the role and company? A global consulting firm specialising in Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions is seeking a Financial BI Consultant to join its growing DACH team. The company partners with leading organisations to optimise finance processes and unlock value from advanced CPM technologies. This role focuses on acting as a functional advisor for CPM technology implementations, helping clients standardise processes, improve reporting and planning workflows, and maximise ROI from IBM Planning Analytics (Cognos TM1) or similar tools. You’ll work closely with technical teams, developers, and architects to deliver impactful solutions. What will I be doing? As a Financial BI Consultant, you will: • Advise clients on best practices for financial reporting, planning, and consolidation processes • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement CPM solutions aligned with business needs • Support workshops and functional design sessions with finance stakeholders • Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and ROI • Assist in testing, documentation, and user training for CPM solutions Act as a trusted advisor to finance teams, bridging functional requirements and technical delivery • Contribute to knowledge sharing and process standardisation across projects What profile will I require?
