Role Summary We are seeking a very senior Frontend Engineer (with strong full-stack skills) to build and scale world-class mobile financial applications. You’ll be working at the intersection of fintech, blockchain, and AI - delivering flawless UI/UX, crafting secure APIs, and accelerating development using cutting-edge AI tools. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, high-ownership environments. Key Responsibilities • Develop production-grade, pixel-perfect UIs in React Native + Expo, using Tamagui + Style Dictionary for design consistency. • Own critical features including: wallets, payments, onboarding, notifications, and transaction histories. • Build and maintain scalable serverless APIs (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Kinesis, EventBridge). • Integrate stablecoin / blockchain payment flows with regulatory-grade security. • Implement real-time experiences with WebSockets and SSE, including AI-driven chat and streaming UX. • Optimize performance (Hermes, Reanimated, FlashList) and ensure high observability (Sentry, Better Stack). • Collaborate closely with design using Figma → Tokens → Tamagui workflows. • Actively leverage AI development tools (Claude, Cursor, MCP integrations) to accelerate delivery. • Contribute to AI-assisted engineering best practices and mentor other engineers. Requirements • 10+ years of professional engineering experience, with 5+ years building mobile fintech apps. • Proven track record delivering complex, secure financial products with high-quality UX/UI. • Expert-level proficiency in React Native + Expo. • Solid full-stack background with TypeScript and serverless AWS architecture. • Strong understanding of secure authentication (Cognito, JWT, device secrets) and data protection. • Experience with stablecoins, blockchain transactions, or payment API integrations. • Strong knowledge of real-time networking (WebSockets, SSE). • Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day development. • Passion for innovation and setting new standards in AI-driven software engineering.
