About Zip

Here at Zip, we're reimagining how modern businesses function in the age of AI. The simple task of buying software, services, or tools at work has become hopelessly complicated at even the most innovative companies in the world. Today, enterprises spend $120T+ per year globally (>30 times larger than annual consumer e-commerce spend) and rely on vendors more than ever before to run their businesses.

Our co-founders started Zip in 2020 to address this seemingly universal problem with a purpose-built procurement platform that provides a simple, consumer-grade user experience. Within the last 5 years, Zip has created a new category and developed the leading solution in this $50B+ TAM space. Today, the world’s leading companies like OpenAI, Snowflake, Anthropic, Coinbase, and JPMorgan Chase rely on Zip to manage billions of dollars in spend.

We have a world-class team coming from category-defining companies like Airbnb, Meta, Stripe, Salesforce, Apple, and Google. With a $2.2 billion valuation and $370 million in funding from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, BOND, DST Global, and CRV, we’re focused on developing cutting-edge technology, expanding into new global markets, and—above all–driving incredible value for our customers. Join us!

Your Role

As a GTM Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll work alongside Sales, Marketing, and RevOps leadership to drive clarity, accountability, and execution across our go-to-market engine. You’ll contribute to strategic initiatives, support operational planning, and help build the systems and insights that power our growth.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who’s analytically sharp, operationally minded, and excited to build the foundation of a world-class revenue org.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive operational excellence across GTM: Support the design and execution of core sales processes including territory planning, goal setting, lead routing, and performance tracking, ensuring our GTM engine runs smoothly as we scale.

  • Deliver insights that drive decisions: Use SQL, spreadsheets, and dashboards to uncover trends, diagnose problems, and influence how Sales and Marketing leaders make decisions. You’ll turn analysis into action.

  • Lead cross-functional projects: Take ownership of high-impact initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Finance, CS, and RevOps, whether that’s streamlining our forecast process, rolling out new attribution logic, or helping launch a new rep productivity model.

  • Shape the GTM rhythm: Partner with Sales leaders to run key operating cadences such as forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and QBRs, ensuring every forum is well-structured, efficient, and driving the right outcomes.

  • Scale what works: Help build the systems, workflows, and metrics that enable repeatable success, while identifying areas for automation and simplification across the funnel.

  • Build trust across teams: Act as a thought partner and executional force for GTM leaders, balancing strategic problem solving with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality to get things done.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, business operations, investment banking, corporate strategy, or similar analytical roles. Previous Sales Operations experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical toolkit: you’re highly proficient in Excel/Sheets. You’re comfortable in SQL or are motivated to learn it quickly.

  • Excellent communication: you can translate analysis into clear insights and are comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.

  • A builder’s mindset: you look for ways to automate, scale, and simplify.

  • You’re detail-oriented but pragmatic: capable of diving deep without losing sight of the big picture.

  • Fast learner with a bias for action: you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and like to get things done.

  • Collaborative and curious: you ask great questions, work well with others, and enjoy solving hard problems as a team.

  • You bring a collaborative, low-ego approach to the table: you’re opinionated but flexible, and you know how to align diverse teams.

  • Interest in SaaS, sales, or GTM strategy. Prior domain experience is a plus, but not required.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
