ABOUT THIS ROLE
We’re seeking a Head of Production, North America to lead Audible’s in-house audiovisual production teams across the U.S. and Canada, including for audiobooks, audio dramas, podcasts, video content, and live production. Reporting to the Head of Audible Content, North America, you will execute and oversee all types of production from end-to-end. As the Head of Production, North America, you will work closely with the Heads of Creative Development and Production Management & Operations to establish and elevate the quality bar for all Audible-produced content, including Audible Originals and Audible Books. You have a strong creative acumen, financial stewardship, senior management experience, and the ability to implement processes efficiently and sustainably without sacrificing creative excellence or intent. You balance creative ambition, operational rigor, and strong leadership thriving at the intersection of storytelling, business strategy, and scalable systems.

As the Head of Production, North America, you will...
- Lead production execution, financial oversight, and strategic planning for the studio and production teams
- Foster a culture rooted in collaboration, creative excellence, inclusivity, and efficiency
- Serve as Audible’s senior production executive to internal stakeholders and the external creative community
- Lead senior producers, sound designers, directors, and video producers across North America to deliver a high-volume, high-quality slate of Audible Originals, Audible Books, podcasts, and other content types that meet Audible’s audience, creative, and business objectives
- Work closely with the Head of Production & Operations to oversee the overall studio budget, P&L, and vendor strategy, optimizing for creative quality, fiscal accountability, and scalability
- Inspire the team to embrace new ways to tell stories in audio-first formats and new technologies, including AI-driven tools
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external creators and production partners across entertainment, publishing, and podcasting
