The Impact You'll Make

As our HR Operations & Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless HR service delivery and accurate payroll operations across Malaysia.

Your impact? You will help create a reliable, consistent, and compliant employee experience by managing core HR processes, supporting local teams, and safeguarding payroll accuracy in alignment with country-level, regional, and global HR policies.

You’ll collaborate closely with HR teams, payroll vendors, global mobility, talent acquisition, and local stakeholders, taking ownership of end ‑ to ‑ end HR operations while enabling smooth employee lifecycle transactions and strengthening our operational foundation across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support local teams and individual employees on all HR operations through the HR ServiceHub technology platform.
  • Manage and administer payroll processes in partnership with the outsourcing payroll vendor (where applicable) while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Support talent acquisition activities such as interview scheduling, background verification, employee referral payout processing, and related administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
  • Administer employee benefits including leave management, medical benefits, insurance updates, long‑service awards, training coordination, and related activities.
  • Oversee expatriate relocation support, employment/dependent pass applications, and collaborate with the global mobility team and external tax partners on expatriate taxation matters.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate employee personnel files and HR data records.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing payroll and HR operations for Malaysia; experience across additional Asian markets is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in English — verbal, written, and spoken.
  • Demonstrated customer centricity and a positive, solution‑oriented mindset.
  • High attention to detail, with strong time‑management and team‑collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures with high sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and its functionalities.
