Under its massive expansion programme, we are currently looking for a diligent and experiencedHR Section Managerwith the opportunity to develop a professional future career growth within the group to be based in Jitra.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all hiring needs, including strategic manpower planning, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and final selection for full-time roles and the structured internship intake.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring of competent talent.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires and sign off on HR documentation for Job Grade E6 and below.
  • Identify organizational training needs through performance data and stakeholder consultation to create the annual training strategy and budget.
  • Coordinate the delivery of internal and external training programs to build employee competencies and close skill gaps.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness to drive continuous improvement, support career development and succession planning initiatives, and ensure HR operational documentation complies with ISO standards.
  • Review and process Training Request Forms and corresponding Purchase Requisition Notes (PRN) to ensure proper authorization and budgetary compliance.
  • Oversee employee relations by handling disciplinary matters and grievances fairly, while ensuring adherence to labor regulations and liaising with government bodies.
  • Support engagement programs and conduct HR risk assessments using the RCS system to mitigate operational risks.
  • Oversee core HR administration, including employee records, HRMS, and attendance management, while also managing the stationery and uniform inventory and requisition process for Farm & Factory operations.
  • Monitor and implement HR policies to ensure compliance and consistency, while also managing and coordinating all hostel-related matters for designated locations.
  • Coordinate employee recognition and appreciation programs for Farm & Factory, including awards and celebratory gifts.
  • Prepare and distribute official HR memos and announcements to Farm & Factory staff.
  • Oversee the end-to-end administration of SOCSO, ensuring accurate contributions, timely processing of claims, and compliance with all related regulations for the organization and its staff.
  • Review and process HR documentation including attendance, PRNs, and claims.
  • Manage approval workflows in HRMS and the Stationery Control System.
  • Compile and analyze HR data and reports for management review.
  • Maintain systematic documentation and filing of all HR-related records

Job Requirements:

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, MIHRM) is a strong advantage.

Experiences:

  • 5–7 years of generalist HR experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Proven hands-on experience in key HR functions: recruitment, training, employee/industrial relations, and HR administration.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, HR policies, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and data reporting capabilities.

Personal & Leadership Skills:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential matters.
