Job Overview
Team Insurance Group is seeking a motivated, Insurance Producer to generate new business in personal lines Home and Auto insurance. This position is available full-time or part-time, making it an excellent fit for experienced producers looking to build a strong book of business with a supportive agency behind them.

This is a remote, producer role focused strictly on new business development. Our internal team handles servicing, policy changes, renewals, and backend operations—so you can stay focused on what you do best: selling and closing new policies.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-driven, organized, and thrives in an environment where performance is rewarded.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and target prospective clients for home and auto insurance coverage
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive consistent new business
  • Communicate with prospects to assess insurance needs and provide tailored policy solutions
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through referrals, outreach, and networking
  • Track sales activity and client interactions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in networking events and community activities to increase visibility
  • Present product options and educate clients on coverage benefits
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients
  • Meet or exceed performance targets related to policy sales and new client acquisition
  • Maintain ethical business practices and adhere to all company policies

Compensation Structure & Growth Opportunity

This position is structured with clear expectations from the start. Producers receive a defined percentage on all new business written.

As production grows, levels increase, allowing top performers to earn higher percentages based on performance milestones. This role is designed for long-term growth, with the ability to build consistent income through increased production and client volume.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Candidates cannot have a felony conviction
  • Strong self-motivation and a results-driven mindset
  • Prior sales experience in home and auto insurance is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Reliable internet connection and remote work setup
  • Must hold an active insurance license or be willing to obtain one prior to contracting
