Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & Leave Intern to support our HR and Payroll team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in payroll processing, leave management, and HR compliance, while assisting in day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates seeking practical exposure in payroll and HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing payroll accurately and on time.

  • Support employee leave management, including tracking leave balances, approvals, and records.

  • Maintain employee records in HR/payroll systems for both payroll and leave data.

  • Help reconcile payroll and leave reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Assist in preparing statutory filings and compliance reports (tax, EPF, SOCSO, etc., depending on country).

  • Respond to employee payroll and leave-related queries under guidance from the HR/Payroll team.

  • Support HR team with ad hoc projects and documentation related to payroll and leave.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of payroll processes and leave administration is a plus.

  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic office software.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
