Job Title: Investment Banker Job Summary: An Investment Banker provides strategic financial advisory services to corporate, institutional, and government clients. The role involves assisting in capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial restructuring, and other complex financial transactions. Investment Bankers analyze financial data, prepare deal documentation, and help clients navigate investment opportunities and financial markets. Key Responsibilities: • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, and capital-raising strategies. • Conduct financial modeling, valuation (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions), and strategic analysis. • Prepare pitch books, transaction documents, and client presentations. • Manage the execution of transactions, including due diligence, negotiations, regulatory filings, and deal closing. • Conduct industry and market research to identify trends, risks, and investment opportunities. • Maintain relationships with institutional investors, corporate clients, and key stakeholders. • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and tax teams to ensure deal structures are sound and compliant. • Stay current with market conditions, financial regulations, and economic developments. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. • 2–5+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field. • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. • Excellent proficiency in arenaflex Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet). • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines. • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Preferred Skills: • Experience working on large-scale M&A, IPOs, or capital market transactions. • Industry specialization (e.g., healthcare, tech, energy) is a plus. • Series 7 and 63 licenses (for U.S.-based roles).
