Title: IT Customer Support Rep Location: Painted Post, New York Contract Hybrid 16115 Job Description: CTG’s long-standing Fortune 500 client is seeking a skilled IT Customer Support Representative to join their Service Desk team. This role provides fast, professional support for IT devices, applications, and systems through phone, chat, and walk-up interactions. Type: Contract Job Title: IT Customer Support Representative Location: Painted Post, NY In Office Position and/or Hybrid Rotation – Hybrid expectation is that agents will be onsite 3 days/week and remote 2 days/week. Schedule determined with team. Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M–F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or IT certification preferred. What You’ll Do: Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues, troubleshooting or routing tickets efficiently. Manage tickets in ServiceNow, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution. Use Knowledge Base articles and vendor support to resolve technical issues. Maintain communication with end users, schedule follow-ups, and manage expectations. Collaborate with teammates and escalate broader issues to leadership. Support corporate calls, hardware, software, and mobile device issues. What You Bring: Minimum 2 years IT Helpdesk/Service Desk experience. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Technical proficiency with Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, and mobile devices. Ability to multitask, manage time, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Citrix, VPN, Symantec Endpoint Protection experience. Experience with ServiceNow, call management software (Finesse), and asset management. Troubleshooting Outlook, printers, Adobe software, and corporate mobile devices. Additional Information: No third-party resumes will be accepted.
