<strong>Job Description</strong><br><br>The IT Project Manager 2 is an experienced professional position that collaborates with a project team of solution managers, engineers, project managers, analysts, quality assurance engineers and designers. This team delivers high quality solutions for customers and partners within the Church. This role interacts with customers and partners to ensure an excellent experience while delivering technical solutions. <br><br>This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.<br><br>We value early, mid and late-career candidates and encourage all applicants with the posted skills and abilities to apply.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br>Assists with the day-to-day technical project work of the team <br><br>Manages and forecasts budgets and risks <br><br>Develops and executes project plans that ensures all deliverables are developed and released on time with the highest quality possible <br><br>Generates weekly reports complete with metrics showing the status of each project <br><br>Aligns and follows standard processes to assure quality and consistency of the product <br><br>Ensures IT risks (including security, compliance, business continuity, etc.) are identified and appropriately addressed <br><br>Addresses complex problems and effectively escalates them as necessary<br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience </li><li>Six years in Technical Project Management or Technology Management experience </li><li>Strong, broad technology background with understanding of IT industry best practices for Project Management </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining productive working relationships </li><li>Proven success in leading multiple teams in a complex matrix organization </li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communications skills </li><li>Ability to demonstrate project planning</li><li>This job operates in a professional office environment </li><li>To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment </li><li>Must obtain PMP Certification or other recognized project management certification within the time frame specified by manager </li></ul><br>Preferred: <br><ul><li>Experience in a global IT organization</li><li>Scrum certifications</li></ul><br><br><strong>About Us</strong><br><br>Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord's work.
