This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Loan Processor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the processing of loans is conducted smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate with customers and loan officers will directly impact the speed and accuracy of the loan approvals. By managing documentation and adhering to regulatory compliance, you will help facilitate a positive loan experience, contributing to the overall success of the lending process. This position operates within Pacific Standard Time Zone working hours to support the West Coast region. Accountabilities • Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets as required by the loan program before submitting to underwriting. • Assemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting. • Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file. • Complete the required loan checklist. • Verify that an application is complete and accurate; identify any potential issues that may arise in underwriting. • Prepare a loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure the accuracy of all the information printed on the documents. • Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc.) and prepare required disclosures. • Communicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information. • Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times. • Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log. • Train and assist supervision of new Loan Processors and other processing personnel. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience. • Experience with Encompass. • Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations. • Knowledge of DU, LP, arenaflex Office, and Windows. • Excellent math and analytical skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
