Kickstarter is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our Finance team. This role is critical in managing budgeting, financial reporting, revenue forecasting, and vendor analysis processes that support Kickstarter’s ongoing growth and financial operations. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Manager, FP&A will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and streamlined financial systems. The ideal candidate is an analytical self-starter with deep financial expertise, excellent technical skills, and a passion for process improvement. Please note that for this role we are only considering candidates based in the United States. The salary range in this role in the United States is $135,000–$145,000. In this role, you will: Financial Planning & Budgeting • Lead and manage the budgeting process end-to-end, ensuring alignment with company goals and accuracy across teams. • Perform regular budget variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Financial Reporting & Forecasting • Prepare and deliver timely financial reports to inform leadership decision-making. Support revenue forecasting activities in partnership with business stakeholders. Vendor & Transaction Management • Oversee vendor review and transaction reconciliation processes, including restructuring vendor tagging for clarity and accuracy. Collaborate with accounting to maintain strong controls and clean financial records. Systems & Process Optimization • Maintain and enhance existing financial systems and tools, including QuickBooks and HubSpot integrations. • Support the transition to the Mosaic financial platform and optimize reporting workflows. Collaboration & Confidentiality • Work cross-functionally with teams across the company to ensure financial data integrity and help identify actionable insights. Handle sensitive financial information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. About You • You have 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in tech or fast-growth companies. • You have advanced arenaflex Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks and HubSpot platforms. • You have familiarity with Looker and/or Mosaic as a plus. • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. • You are comfortable working independently within a lean team environment. • You have excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
