Help build the next generation of Affirm's Comms platform and define our presence around the world.</p> <p><br><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team responsible for designing and developing the communication platform at Affirm for all channels (sms, email, push, physical).</p> </li> <li> <p>Mentor engineers on the team to help improve their designs, code quality, and testing.</p> </li> <li> <p>Own availability, reliability, and performance of your team’s systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with product managers to design and build best-in-class systems and processes for Comms Platform.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with a diverse set of engineering teams who use Comms platform to keep in touch with customers throughout the entire lifecycle of a loan at Affirm</p> </li> <li> <p>Build relationships and engage with senior management in the organization</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What we look for:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>7+ years of proven experience as a software engineer role with leadership responsibilities and 1+ years as an engineering manager.</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive to change consumer financial services for the better.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prior experience growing and managing a high performing engineering team.</p> </li> <li> <p>Fluency in back end development.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prior experience architecting, building, launching and maintaining consumer scale products.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></h3> <p><strong>Base Pay Grade</strong> -<strong> P</strong></p> <p><strong>Equity Grade</strong> - <strong>Poland 5</strong></p> <p>Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range.
