Job Purpose

PeopleCert is looking for a are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Analyst to join our Product Marketing team. This role is crucial in supporting the operational activities of the Senior Product Marketing Managers (Sr. PMMs) and leading comprehensive market research initiatives. The Research Analyst will play a vital role in strengthening our messaging, value proposition, and market positioning by providing actionable insights and data.

Duties And Responsibilities

Operational Support:

Assist Sr. PMMs with day-to-day operational tasks to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies
Manage the collection and organization of data to support the development and refinement of product messaging and positioning
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials and sales enablement assets
Provide input on the development of marketing campaigns, product launches, and go-to-market strategies based on research findings

Market Research Leadership:

Design and execute comprehensive market research projects to gather data on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
Analyse market data to identify opportunities and challenges, providing insights that inform product marketing strategies
Manage subscriptions to market research tools and resources, ensuring the team has access to the latest industry information

Insights and Analysis:

Generate and present detailed reports on research findings, offering strategic recommendations to Sr. PMMs, Product Marketing Director, VP Product
Conduct ad hoc research to support specific product marketing initiatives, providing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making processes
Lead cross-functional meetings to discuss research findings and their implications for product marketing strategies
Ensure effective communication of research insights across the Product Marketing team and other relevant departments

Minimum Required Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification is required, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
5+ years of experience in market research, marketing analysis, or a related field is a must
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
Proficiency in market research tools and methodologies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
Knowledgeable of Market research jargon

Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
Financial background check
Employment reference check

If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
