About The Role As an Associate Director, you will be a member of the Actuarial Modernization team, leads PathWise QA team and primarily supports Corebridge’s annuity business. The models developed by Actuarial Modernization team on PathWise platform will be used to produce GAAP and economic projections which will directly support valuation, capital management, asset liability management, and forecasting. You will have frequent and regular interactions with the valuation model owners, business line CFA team, actuarial control team, model production team and IT team. Responsibilities • Support the business needs to convert old block into PathWise platform which includes: • Create testing plan and testing case to validate PathWise model • Work with model owners to attribute conversion impact again legacy models • Identify drivers of the conversion impact • Test BAU model changes such as assumption updates, methodology improvements, regulatory required changes, and financial planning/forecast etc. • Test new annuity product model implementation and onboarding • Support company strategic projects, such as reinsurance and capital optimization • Perform ad hoc sensitivity runs when required • Perform integration testing on model releases including model controls • Document all testing steps • Work with IT to resolve data issues or process issues • Support model transition to production team by providing effective documentation and communication Skills And Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or other quantitative field • Actuary or Market Risk Management background required • 8+ years of actuarial experience, predominantly in actuarial modeling • Modeling experience with PathWise platform preferred • Python programming experience preferred • Experience with annuity products preferred • Good verbal and written communication skills • Able to cope with stress and fast-pace changes Compensation Corebridge also offers a range of competitive benefits as part of the total compensation package, as detailed below.
