About the jobJob Title: Medical Imaging / Clinical InformaticistLocation: RemoteDuration: Contract Job Description:Skill Sets and Qualifications· The candidates must have Cerner Millennium experience including enterprise wide application design, gap analysis, requirements gathering, clinical engagement, DCW creation, testing, training and support experience.· Registered Nursing background with experience in RadNet, Change Management, Quality Improvement, and leadership.· Strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient scheduling as it pertains to Medical Imaging and clinical relevant workflows that meet organizational standards and initiatives.· Strong stakeholder engagement skills, project management, change control skills, leadership skills, and the ability to lead clinical adoption of workflow processes across care settings regarding evidence-based clinical documentation, order development, and care mapping/clinical pathways. Roles & Responsibilities· Gathers requirements through clinical engagement with end users including leaders, managers, educators, radiology technologists, nurses, ordering providers, radiologists, billing specialists, project staff, and informatics teams.· Understand end to end clinical workflows for radiology technologist, nurse, providers, radiologists, and radiology leadership to inform electronic ordering and workflows.· Have an understanding of build and design for radiology strategy related to radnet, CPOE orderables, medical imaging orders, medical imaging clinical order sets, order set design, OEFs, inpatient acute workflows and ambulatory/outpatient workflows, registration and scheduling design and workflows.· Support and lead design sessions, workflow reviews, and workflow validations with clinical end users· Identify, design, develop, and deliver radiology/medical imaging education to end users from a scenario/workflow perspective.· Works in collaboration with medical imaging informatics, pharmacy informatics, surgical informatics, clinical informatics, CPOE builders, order set builders, IHealth project, and Cerner Operations teams to coordinate and develop medical imaging enterprise-wide strategies which support the organization's initiatives and the Vancouver Island Health Authority IHealth initiative.
