Position: Functional Senior Overview As a arenaflex Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Senior at EY GDS, you will contribute to the success of enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 Commerce implementations, primarily in the Retail and commerce domain. You will have the opportunity to work with a growing team and play a key role in delivering financial transformation solutions, process improvements, and ERP implementations to global clients, helping build a better working world. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Commerce for Retail and Commerce operations. • Manage business process analysis, solution design, and functional documentation for Retail and commerce modules. • Conduct workshops with client stakeholders to gather requirements and propose industry best practices. • Supervise the implementation lifecycle including configuration, data migration, testing, and deployment. • Identify and resolve functional and system integration gaps. • Collaborate with technical consultants to translate functional needs into robust technical solutions. • Drive planning and execution of unit testing, UAT, and go-live readiness. • Guide super user and end-user training and support documentation creation. • Configure and optimize D365 eCommerce components such as product catalogs, online storefronts, order management, and promotions for B2C and B2B businesses. • Configure and manage eCommerce sites using D365 Site Builder, including creating and customizing pages, organizing assets in the media library, designing fragments for reusable content, and utilizing modules to enhance site functionality and ensure a consistent user experience across B2C and B2B platforms. • Ensure compliance with EY and client project delivery standards, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and documentation practices. Skills and attributes for success • In-depth knowledge of D365 eCommerce B2C and B2B. Hands-on experience with • Retail and commerce modules • Stores, call center and online stores • B2C and B2B eCommerce management • Assortment, Promotions & loyalty management • Product Information Management • D365 Site builder Strong understanding of • Media library management • Familiarity with Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power BI, is a plus. • Ability to conceptualize and design future-state business processes. • Experience in conducting GAP analysis, solution testing, and user training. • Good understanding of security roles, data management, Azure Dev Ops, and LCS environments. To qualify for the role, you must have • 5–10 years of experience in D365 Commerce • Minimum 3 full-cycle D365 Commerce implementations. • Strong domain knowledge of Retail & eCommerce • Strong domain knowledge of D365 Site builder tool • Experience with arenaflex Sure Step, Agile, or hybrid implementation methodologies. • Proficiency in working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders. • arenaflex certifications such as MB-340, MB-900 are preferred. Ideally, you’ll also have • Knowledge of integration with other arenaflex technologies such as Azure, Power Platform. • Familiarity with industry-specific retail practices and compliance requirements. • Experience working in multi-country and multi-legal entity environments. • Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to lead discovery workshops, manage offshore teams, and mentor junior consultants. • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, fast-paced environment.
