Join Lufthansa Technik as an NDT Inspector Level 2! Perform non-destructive testing on aircraft components, interpret these test results and maintain product quality documentation. Tasks Your main tasks include, among others: Set up equipment and perform all phases of ET, UT and PT inspection of aircraft components Perform assigned maintenance, repair and overhaul tasks such as disassembly, assembly and testing as well as sheet metal and/or composite work on aircraft components Train other employees towards NDT-Level 2 Inspector in acc. with NAS 410 standard Assure product quality and manufacturing accuracy Maintain product quality documentation Maintain process control and equipment specifications Update procedures, tests and specifications to stay in accordance with CMM/NTM/SRM and customer requirements Maintain compliance through testing for NDT-Level 2 certification Solve problems by closely working with other departments Improve information on the procedures and tooling Provide training and guidance to junior and less skilled personnel Report all none-conformances to the Supervisor Prepare rejection tags noting deviations from specifications on dimensions, finishes, materials, processes of quality when required Follow all instructions and safety procedures Requirements The ideal NDT Inspector Level 2 should meet the following requirements: Proven experience and qualifications as a NDT Inspector Level 2 in accordance with NAS 410 standard for the following procedures: Eddy Current Inspection (EC) Ultrasonic Inspection (UT) Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (PT) Ability to prepare aircraft components to ensure NDT process meets customer specifications called for per work order/ job card and OEM specifications and requirements Experience in sheet metal / composite repairs (preferable) Experience with training other employees on NDT processes and procedures Proven experience and ability to perform assigned maintenance, repair and overhaul tasks such as disassembly, assembly and testing as well as sheet metal and/or composite work on aircraft components on demand Ability to communicate properly and to read, write and speak in English Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of information Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work environments, management styles and business trends PC skills including basic skills for Outlook, Word, Excel About Lufthansa Technik AG Lufthansa Technik is the world's leading provider of maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services in the aviation industry.
