Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced, attentive, and patient Night Shift Caregiver to provide 12-hour overnight care (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) for a client located in North Dallas 4-5 nights per week.

This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to following a comprehensive and structured care plan. Documentation and accountability are essential in this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing hands-on care and attentive overnight support
  • Safely operating an electronic Hoyer lift (experience required)
  • Following a detailed care plan precisely and consistently
  • Completing thorough documentation, including detailed notes and required photo updates
  • Ensuring devices and equipment are properly charged and maintained
  • Assisting with meals and encouraging adequate intake (may require up to 2 hours of patient support)
  • Engaging the client in a calm, respectful, and supportive manner
  • Performing light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Collaborating professionally with the client’s care team, family members, and facility staff

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years caregiving experience
  • Proven experience using an electronic Hoyer lift
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Extremely patient, attentive, and adaptable
  • Professional, team-oriented, and friendly demeanor
  • Reliable and dependable for overnight shifts
