About the Department
The Department of Management offers BBA, MBA, MS, and Ph.D.
programs in management, and is composed of outstanding and
collegial faculty whose research and teaching interests represent
different facets of management including Strategic Management,
Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Operations and
Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics. Our faculty
members are enthusiastically engaged in research and regularly
publish in the top journals in their disciplines, hold leadership
positions in professional associations, and serve on the editorial
boards of top journals. They also engage with colleagues in other
units of the Robinson College of Business, GSU, and neighboring and
international universities in a variety of professional
activities.
Position Description
The Robinson College of Business ( RCB ) at Georgia State
University ( GSU ) invites candidates for one or more non-tenure
track faculty positions within the Department of Management in the
area of Operations and Supply Chain Management to be effective
August 2026. The rank is open. We seek applicants with a strong
passion for teaching and demonstrated effectiveness for teaching
Operations Management and Supply Chain Management courses at both
the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Successful candidates will contribute to the Department’s
Operations and Supply Chain Management programs across the
undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels. In addition to
excellence in teaching, they will engage with the department’s
Global Logistics Roundtable—an established industry outreach
initiative that connects faculty, students, and leading logistics
and supply chain professionals.
Required Experience
Significant leadership experience in operations and supply chain
management and with relevant teaching experience.
Required Education
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field from
an AACSB -accredited university prior to appointment, or a master’s
degree in business or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
The capability for publishing research in refereed journals
(pedagogical, practitioner or disciplinary) is required for
Clinical positions. Applicants with professional management
experience and/or experience teaching management courses will be
given preference.
