Job Title: Office Administrator (Bilingual Spanish/English)

Location: Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) – Dulles, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Position Overview

Huntleigh USA is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support operations at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). This position plays a critical leadership role in coordinating administrative functions, supporting operational management, and ensuring excellent internal and external customer service.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish/English), highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Administrative Leadership

  • Design and improve workflows and administrative procedures

  • Coordinate projects, track progress, and ensure timely completion

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staffing processes

  • Monitor budgets and support cost-control initiatives

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise Account Administrative Assistant and Human Resources Assistant

  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support

  • Delegate responsibilities effectively and monitor outcomes

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team environment

Customer Service & Communication

  • Promote a strong customer-focused culture

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries

  • Manage sensitive or difficult situations with professionalism and sound judgment

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Strategic & Business Support

  • Assist in workforce planning and forecasting staffing needs

  • Support quality management initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school;
    OR

  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training;
    OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in database software, HR systems, internet software, order processing systems, and project management software

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required

  • Must strive to obtain Microsoft Certification within 24 months of employment

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written and verbal instructions

  • Ability to resolve problems involving standardized situations and concrete variables

Physical Demands

  • Regular sitting, standing, and use of hands and arms

  • Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to adjust focus and maintain visual acuity

  • Exposure to airport operational environments, including moderate noise and varying weather conditions

Work Environment

This position operates in both office and airport operational settings. Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and moderate noise levels.
