about the job

1. Operational Leadership & Strategy
  • Oversee all daily mall functions, including Facilities Management (M&E), Security, Housekeeping, and Carpark Operations.
  • Develop and implement robust SOPs to ensure a safe and clean shopping environment.
2. Tenant Management & Retention
  • Act as the primary liaison for key tenants, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and operational compliance.
  • Oversee the Fit-Out & Handover process for new retailers to ensure timely store openings.
  • Monitor tenant sales performance and provide operational support to help retailers thrive within the ecosystem.

3. Financial Accountability

  • Take full ownership of the mall’s OPEX and CAPEX budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
  • Review and approve procurement contracts and vendor service level agreements (SLAs).

4. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure the mall adheres to all statutory requirements, including fire safety (BOMBA), health and safety (OSHA), and local council regulations.
  • Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and maintain up-to-date crisis management protocols.

skills and experience required

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Property Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Facility/Property Management, preferably within a shopping mall environment.
  • Driven, ambitious, and assertive character with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    Strong communication skills and proven leadership qualities in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
