The Cashier position is responsible for performing on the front line of guest service. In this position, you will receive cash from guests for parking services and be responsible for the proper and efficient operation within Company policy, in such a manner as to ensure an overall positive parking experience. The essential job functions are listed below but may include duties which are outside of these job functions which are required to meet the need of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Efficiently process payment transactions accurately and promptly to prevent wait times and backups.
  • Collect parking fees using cash, credit cards, or electronic payment systems.
  • Ensure that charges are posted to guest rooms, track tickets and keys.
  • Issue tickets, receipts, and parking validations as needed.
  • Completes daily reconciliation of receipts, cash, and charges; accurately accounts for all funds within cashier drawer.
  • Give all guests prompt and courteous service and use your knowledge to answer all questions and offer assistance.
  • Properly clean and maintain equipment in the booth and all other parking equipment in the general area.
  • Notifies runners for guest call downs.
  • Operate point of sale system, by ringing in all transactions into the proper code, per Company policy.
  • Answers telephone in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Promote and support Company image standards.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
