Key Responsibilities
​Aligned with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) framework, the successful candidate will:

​Deliver Learner-Centered Instruction: Create engaging, competency-based learning experiences that foster critical thinking and creativity.

​Curriculum Planning: Develop comprehensive lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment tools in strict adherence to KICD guidelines.

​Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct both formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.

​Portfolio Management: Diligently maintain and support learner portfolios to track progress and core competencies.

​Tech Integration: Seamlessly integrate digital literacy and 21st-century skills into daily classroom instruction.

​Differentiated Learning: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of all students.

​Co-curricular Engagement: Actively participate in and lead school co-curricular activities and clubs.

​Required Qualifications

​Professional Certification: P1 Certificate (minimum).

​TSC Registration: Must possess a valid Teachers Service Commission (TSC) registration certificate.

​Specialization: Proven expertise in teaching Social Studies (SST), Kiswahili, and Creative Arts.

​CBC Training: A Diploma or additional specialized training in CBC implementation is a distinct advantage.

​Deep understanding of learner-centered pedagogy and CBC assessment strategies.

​High level of creativity and innovation in instructional delivery.

​Strong verbal and written communication skills.

​Experience: A minimum of 2 years teaching experience within a CBC environment is preferred.
